Manuscript Instruction for Authors

- Manuscripts, prepared in in Microsoft Word format should be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal.

- Manuscripts should be double-spaced, with Times New Roman font, 12 points size, and margins of 1 inch on all sides.

- The title page should contain the full names of the author(s), institutional affiliation and a very short biodata. Note that the first page of the main text should begin with the title of the article (repeated) just before the abstract. However, the name and address of the author(s) should not reflect on this page for the purpose of blind review...

- Abstract of not more than 250 words followed by 5-7 keywords should be included.

- The length of the main article should not exceed 20 typed double-spaced pages (or 6,500 words) using Times New Roman, Point/Font Size 12. Papers submitted should be well structured into sections and sub-sections where necessary (which should not be numbered). Title of each section/subsection should not exceed 14 words.

- For uniformity and consistency, the structure of each article should reflect, but may not be limited to, the following segments: Introduction; Theoretical Construct/Literature Review; Study Design/Methodology; Textual/Data Analysis; Discussion of Findings; Conclusion (and Recommendation, if applicable; and References. Short Appendix can be included where applicable).

- Operational terms and expressions should be defined. Symbols, abbreviation, and acronyms should also be defined and rendered in full forms the first time they appear in the paper. All tables and figures should be numbered chronologically. Supplementary sections like materials and methods, texts, tables and figures should be placed in the body of essay where they belong; NOTas separate files.

- The current APA (American Psychological Association) formatting style should be observed throughout the manuscript especially for in-text citations and end-reference list.

- Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are free of plagiarism with strict adherence to ethical standards. They should also ensure that manuscripts are subjected to meticulous editorial scrutiny to rid them of grammatical and mechanical slips before submission.

- The primary language of the journal is English. Nonetheless, papers written in other languages like Arabic, French, Igbo and Yoruba are also considered. As such, authors of papers written in languages other than English must, additionally, include the English version of the abstract.

- An abstract not more than 200 words should accompany each paper.

- Individual authors warrant that their contributions are original, and will not infringe upon any copyright or property rights of others, and that the works do not contain anything that violates right of privacy.

Each manuscript formatted in Ms-Word should be submitted electronically along with its PDF version to: alorejournal.unilorin@gmail.com

The Editor-in-Chief and the Secretary (Editorial Board) should be copied.
